Our MissioN

The start of our visitor season is either Good Friday or the first Friday in April (whichever is earlier).

We close our doors at the end of October or the end of October half term (whichever is later).

We will open in the Winter season for festive events only. Please check our event page (link) for details.

We will stop issuing admission tickets an hour before our closing time to make sure you have time to see everything.

Maintenance during the summer

We have a large and complex site for you to visit. To keep it working so you can enjoy everything we have to offer we will need to close for one day each month in the summer. Our closure dates for this year are:
