Opening Hours

Acton Scott Heritage Farm is currently closed for the Winter period, only opening for our Christmas Events and private hires.

We will reopen in Spring 2026, every weekend from the Easter school holidays to the Autumn School holidays.

The Acton Scott Farm Cafe will remain open during the Winter break from Wednesday to Sunday 10.30am-4.00pm each day. Where you can enjoy a delicious lunch, seasonal treats and hot drinks in our cosy cafe. Please park vehicles in the Cafe car park on Henley Lane.

FAQs

Dogs are welcome at Acton Scott Heritage Farm and cafe in designated areas. For the safety of our animals and livestock, dogs are only allowed up to the bridge which leads down into the farmyard.

Assistance Dogs are welcome throughout the farm.

We have an off road mobility scooter available for hire. Email contact@ashf.org.uk to book.

All Guided Tours and Talks are free during your visit.

Season Tickets

By becoming a Season Ticket holder, you will not only help support our work as a Charity, but you can visit the farm as much as you want!

Currently, Season Tickets can only be bought in person, and are valid until Sunday 2 November when we close for Winter.

Car parking is free. We also offer disabled parking for visitors. However, please note that the vehicle gate closes at 5.00pm.

Public Transport: The nearest train station is located in Church Stretton, the 435 Bus from Shrewsbury to Ludlow stops at Marshbrook and is a one mile walk to the Farm.
