VOLUNTEERING

We are passionate about volunteering at Acton Scott Heritage Farm. Anyone over the age of 16 can volunteer to take part in keeping the farm maintained and ensuring that our visitors have a wonderful time when they arrive on site.

A Range of Roles

We rely on an army of volunteers to help with all aspects of running the Farm, including;

  • Guiding tours around the site as a historic character
  • Supporting the Farm Manager with the livestock and maintenance
  • Machinery maintenance
  • Front of house ticket sales
  • Carrying out demonstrations of equipment (full training given)
  • Event stewarding
  • Costume making
  • Social media contributors
  • Community fundraising
  • Gardening

As a volunteer you can offer your time as it suits you. Training will be provided as necessary.
