Acton Scott Heritage Farm’s facilities are here to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.
Accessibility
The main farm area has wide paths that can be used by wheelchair users and pushchairs. The farmyard is cobbled and may not be suitable for all people however, we intend to make this accessible for everyone as soon as we can.
Seating
There are benches situated around the farm to allow you to break up your visit.
Dogs
Dogs are not allowed on site. This is because we have livestock that we need to keep safe.
Picnic Area
We have a designated picnic area close to the car park, and not used by livestock, that has a number of picnic tables for you to use.
Water
We offer free water container refills at the cafe and at the visitor centre.
Toilets and changing areas
The visitor centre has toilets, accessible toilets and a baby changing area. There are also toilets at the cafe in The Old Schoolhouse as well as another baby changing area.
Nappy and sanitary product bins are provided in each of the toilet areas. Please do not flush nappies or sanitary products down the toilet.
Free sanitary products are available in the ladies toilets.
Cafe
The main cafe is based at The Old School House and provides lunches and hot meals. The picnic tables outside the cafe are for customers only. Waiting times for meals will vary depending upon how busy we are.
If you just want hot drinks and snacks (eg) crisps, chocolates, ice cream then we have up to xx kiosks around the farm where waiting times may be shorter.
