About us

ACTON SCOTT HERITAGE FARM

Acton Scott Heritage Farm near Church Stretton in Shropshire is operated by an educational charity which seeks to promote our rural heritage through working demonstrations of traditional skills and crafts, promoting an interest in food, farming and the countryside. The Farm is an escape from the modern world in the timeless and picturesque setting of the Shropshire Hills.

We also offer the chance to engage with some of the animals that would have been part of farming life such as lambs, calves, piglets, chicks and heavy horses.

The farm follows the farming calendar so there are opportunities to be part of some of the annual celebrations that would have taken place such as May Day celebrations, hay-making, harvesting and cider-making.

To keep up to date with what is happening on the farm, please follow us on our social media – we update Facebook and Instagram regularly.

If future employment opportunities arise, they will be advertised on LinkedIn.
